  • At Oregon Coast Chiropractic we recognize the innate intelligence of the body is what does the healing. Chiropractic is a needle-free, drug-free approach to promote health and wellness. The one thing all diagnoses, conditions, and dis-eases have in common is that the communication between the brain and the body is challenged. To that end, chiropractic care that focuses on spinal and neural integrity supports the natural and innate capacity of the body to heal.

We do not treat conditions, we take care of people.

That being said, Dr. Mutter has a decade of clinical experience with the following challenges, including but not limited to:

    • motor vehicle injury

    • frozen shoulder

    • rib complaints

    • low back pain

    • hip, knee, and ankle pain

    • pregnancy

    • newborn and infant care

    • pediatric chiropractic

    • attention deficit

    • sensory processing

    • autonomic nervous system regulation

  • There are many reasons for parents to consider chiropractic as a first line of support when encountering challenges with their kids.

Chiropractors trained and experienced in the care of young ones offer a gentle, precise, drug-free, and physiologically-based service to facilitate more ease in the developing nervous system. Chiropractic is not a treatment for a condition, but rather a way to support the normal, self-healing capacity of the body. There are many expressions of dis-ease that occur in young ones that are often related to stress and tension held in the spine and cranium. For example, birth is a powerful experience and that power can be exerted in ways that can be taxing to the newborn’s body.

Parents may consider seeking chiropractic services for their young one for colic, issues with latch, digestive challenges, irregular/absent poops, sleep difficulties, mobility concerns, or visible asymmetry in posture or movements. Parents also bring their young ones in simply because they have personal experience with the benefits of chiropractic to facilitate balance and ease and want to offer that gift to their child.

As the stream of child development becomes a river, chiropractic helps to address and adjust any “boulders” or “dams” that may obstruct the flow of life and health.
